Oak Grove Families, Please make plans to attend Grandparents' Lunch on Friday, September 8th. Lunch times are: PreK at 10:15, K at 11:00, 1st grade at 11:10, 2nd grade at 11:30, 3rd grade at 11:40, 4th grade at 11:50, and 5th grade at 12:00. Please allow extra time for parking and bring an ID to check in. The menu will be sloppy joes and tater tots. (switching the menu for Sept. 6 and 8th) Thank you and we can't wait to have you join us for lunch!
Adult lunch will cost $5. Please RSVP by Tuesday September 5th to help us prepare.

She just can't stay away! Mrs. Julie James, twice retired, is returning to Oak Grove as our dyslexia interventionist on a temporary basis. We know she will be moving sometime this year, but we are so lucky to have her step in where there was a need, AGAIN! Thank you, Mrs. James!

Introducing Security Officer Felicia Lewis-Felders to the Oak Grove family. She jumped right in and is already an asset to the team. Welcome Officer Felders when you see her in the car line, walking the hallways, or on the grounds.


It was a great first week of school at Oak Grove Elementary! It wouldn't have been possible without our fantastic support staff. Ms. Tindall and Mr. DK, preK paras, work closely with their teachers and as a team to keep our littlest Hornets safe and healthy while they learn through play.

Be Mighty Little Rock is providing free after school meals for kids and teens, 18 and under, at 11 local CALS locations. All meals must be consumer on site and children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult.

Thank you Mrs. Hodge for helping our students however you can! Earlier this week during breakfast, she sat down with a student who was having trouble with his shoes. An extra hand and a little encouragement can go a long way!
