Oak Grove Families: Our teachers are rested, our hallways are bright, and our desks are clean and ready for the Hornets! Join us tomorrow, Friday August 8th for Open House from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Kindergarten Families, please meet us in the library at 5:00. There will be hot dogs from the Church @ Maumelle and school supplies in a clear or mesh backpack from Graves Memorial Baptist Church. You can meet your teacher, see your friends, and get information on bus transportation. We will also have reps from Scouts and RPI, our school based mental health provider. Let's get ready for a great school year of Growing Together!

Ms. Shannon is back in the office and ready to help! If you need to register a new student, bring updated records or change information such as address or phone number, she can help you. New PreK students are assigned from the district PreK office, but we do still have openings for 3 and 4 year olds. -Government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, school ID, etc.)
-Signed Social Security card
-U.S. birth certificate
-Non-U.S. citizens: permanent resident card or work authorization
👨‍👩‍👧 Parents/Guardians:
-Recent check stub or 2024 W-2 OR proof of public assistance (SNAP, TEA, Work Pays, Medicaid, SSI)

If not receiving assistance: documentation of household size, SSN cards for all household members, and proof of household income

The new school year starts August 11th and this year we are Growing Together! Returning students, there is no need to do anything unless you have information to change in the office. We are now registering new students and PreK, 3 and 4 year olds. Open House for all is August 8th from 5:30 to 6:30, with Kindergarten meeting in the library at 5:00 PM together. Backpacks and school supplies for students will be provided by Graves Memorial Baptist Church. Remember, backpacks must be clear or mesh this year.
