
Join us in celebrating Kenneth Canterbury, an 11th grade student at SHHS. He presented on "Home Fire Safety & Prevention" to our Foods & Nutrition classes this week as they geared up for cooking. Kenneth has three certifications: Basic Life Support , Wildland Firefighter , & Not Your Ordinary Rescue. He is a fire marshal here at SHHS and a volunteer at RunYan Acres Fire Department. He has also almost completed his training to be a Certified Firefighter. What an amazing young man!

Parents of Juniors, your student will have the opportunity to participate in a 1-day job shadow with local businesses in careers that align with their chosen pathway. Your student received an interest survey and the survey is due by 12/6.

Students are solving a "murder" in Ms. Litten's class this week! Students studied Newton's Law of Cooling Exponential Functions and then used data from the Officer's report to calculate time of death. They also read through interviews to determine if each alibi was credible.

Ms. Albert took a group of students last week to tour the Culinary School at UAPT, and everyone had a delicious time! #collegeandcareerready
