Earlier this year, 8th grade girls at Maumelle Middle participated in the Positive Period Project promoting healthy menstrual awareness. One student, Shekinah, led the charge in collecting feminine hygiene products out of her own pocket. She said "no girl should lack access to [these products] to keep herself clean and comfortable during her period." Way go go, Shekinah!

Students who showed growth on the January MAPS test were treated to a field trip on March 4 to the Millennium Bowl. Way to go, Stingers! Very proud of your hard work!





Our Guys in T.I.E.S. group had another informative and engaging meeting on March 2. They even had a visit from a career officer from the Little Rock Police Department. Go Stingers!
