For 8th grade students only, if you have not already done so, please submit two pictures for our 8th grade Recognition Ceremony slideshow. These pictures can be current or from when the student was a young child. They just need to be appropriate for public viewing. Pulaski County Counselors Association is planning a summer book drive that will directly benefit our students that may need extra support for summer literacy. We are asking families to donate gently used books now through May 12 to your school counseling office. Books of any genre are accepted as they will be distributed to children of all ages in our District.

Under the Stars Maumelle Middle School Spring Semi Formal Dance May 12, 2023 6:30-8:30 Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in the office until May 9. Attire is dressy to semi formal and must be school appropriate.

Interested in playing volleyball at Maumelle High for the 2023-2024 school year? Tryouts are coming up ... one day for 9th grade and another for varsity. Both days will be held in the Maumelle High School gym. 9th grade tryouts will be on Monday, May 15 at 4:30 p.m. Varsity tryouts will be on Friday, May 19 at 4:30 p.m. If you have questions, please contact Coach Pearson, jpearson6297@pcssd.org.

We will begin Aspire testing on Tuesday, April 25, with the Reading test. Parents and guardians can assist their students be successful in the following ways: Have students charge their Chromebooks each night; Help students remember to get a good night's sleep; Have students eat a good breakfast each morning and Help students be on time to school every day. Students need to report to first period and will then be dismissed to their testing room. We appreciate your cooperation with this! Go Stingers!!!

ACT Aspire sessions begin on Tuesday, April 25 with the Reading Test. Students need to get a good night's sleep the night before, eat a good breakfast, have their Chromebook charged and be on time to school. We believe in you and we can do this! Go Stingers!!!

Maumelle Middle students enjoyed a pep rally on April 21 to prepare for the upcoming ACT Aspire days. Our cheerleaders, dance team, band and Mr. Bratcher inspired students to do their best on the test! Go Stingers!!!

Miss Ashe’s class having a little fun with Pythagorean Theorem before testing next week! Students were given a series of clues using Pythagorean Theorem to narrow down a list of suspects to determine who the building prankster was. Go Stingers!!!
