In Spanish class, students learned about the different styles of Hispanic painting and learned that painting significantly influences the global art scene through its unique perspectives, innovative techniques, and engagement with social issues. Painters such as Picasso, Kahlo, Siqueiros, Botero and more showcase a variety of styles and movements, demonstrating the diversity and richness of Hispanic art.
Our Spanish students learned that good health and nutrition are the foundation of learning and a crucial investment for a more sustainable future. They created the health plate and drew each food and placed it in the correct nutritional group. They learned about the correct portions they should consume to be healthy and wrote sentences about the foods they like or dislike, while practicing their Spanish.
