The Maumelle Food Truck Festival is THIS Saturday!! We're so thankful we've been able to reschedule this event from its original date in April. So come join us this Saturday, May 13, for family fun and great food. We'll have nearly a dozen food trucks and activities set up for 11am until 4pm at Maumelle Middle School. Students in the class of 2026 participated in the "Pledge to Graduate" at Maumelle High School. These freshman are pledging to graduate high school and declared their academy pathway during their time at Maumelle High. Special thanks to our guest speaker, Hornet alum and current KARK anchor, Gary Burton, Jr. The academy pathways are part of the Academies of Central Arkansas at each of the 4 high schools in PCSSD.

AP Environmental Science Teacher, Mr. Young, brought current events into his class recently. He tasked his student to study the recent Ohio train derailment and chemical spill and determine the environmental impact of the spill. Students created a train poster with their answers to hang in the hallway of the school.
