The Maumelle Food Truck Festival is THIS Saturday!! We're so thankful we've been able to reschedule this event from its original date in April. These freshman are pledging to graduate high school and declared their academy pathway during their time at Maumelle High. Special thanks to our guest speaker, Hornet alum and current KARK anchor, Gary Burton, Jr. The academy pathways are part of the Academies of Central Arkansas at each of the 4 high schools in PCSSD.

AP Environmental Science Teacher, Mr. Young, brought current events into his class recently. He tasked his student to study the recent Ohio train derailment and chemical spill and determine the environmental impact of the spill. Students created a train poster with their answers to hang in the hallway of the school.
