Scholars in Ms. Jones' AVID classes visited the Army Mobile Experience on Wednesday. Students used the AVID strategy of "inquiry" to explore different career paths that the Army has to offer. Students also participated in military technology simulations that provided hands-on experiences. What a fun opportunity!









The Arkansas Center for Health Improvement reports the risk of mental health issues increase for adolescents who spend more than 3 hours a day on social media. ACHI released a video to help parents understand parental controls.

Students in Coach Garrison's Freshman Seminar class are starting the year off with a fun project. These students are making pennants of their favorite college and university to decorate the lockers around the school. What's your favorite college or university?
