May is Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month. One reason May was chosen to celebrate the contributions of AAPI people is Golden Spike Day. The transcontinental railroad, built with the help of many Chinese workers, was completed on May 10, 1869. #pcssdproud #serveall

Earlier this month, The Eat My Catfish team brought learning to life for our students! This hands-on lesson allowed students to hold live crawfish & taste cooked crawfish, all while learning about these fascinating creatures and their role in Arkansas’ ecosystem.

Fourth Grade Parents,
Please join us for an exciting opportunity for you and your rising 5th grader to get a sneak peek of what next year has in store. Let's Step Up to 5th grade! Mr. Staswick will be sharing helpful information along with content to study over the summer. Even better, your students will have the chance to ask questions from current 5th graders about what they found most helpful over the course of the year. All 4th-grade students will attend with their class however, parents are strongly encouraged to come, join, and ask questions about their students for this event!

We are so proud of all our Baker students and families who participated. Your dedication to reading and support for our school community is truly inspiring.
Way to go, Baker Broncos!
